Images are 630px in width and will resize automatically if you want them to for a snug fit.
This is how your posts will look so you have a snippet of the actual text of the blog post with the first image. There'll be a maximum of three posts shown on your blog homepage so it doesn't scroll as you requested and if you click the 'Read More' link below you'll be able to read the full blog post.
Don't worry about your sidebar - that'll all be built up with what you already have on there when you're ready for installation as all of that is hosted on your blog. This is just the design shell if you like that you'll build up with your own content. I tried to keep the purple theme while keeping it clean and professional with a little personality so it doesn't overwhelm or detract from your content and photos.
